Simpson, Edward S. (Edward Sydney), 1875-1939
Variant namesMineralogist. In 1897 came to Western Australia to fill the newly created position of Mineralogist and Assayer to the Geological Survey Department. His work "Minerals of Western Australia", published posthumously in 1948-1952, was the definite reference on the subject.
