Hutton, Edward, Sir, 1848-1923
Variant namesFirst general officer commanding the military forces of the Commonwealth of Australia 1902-1905. Commanded N.S.W. military forces 1893-1897 and 1st Brigade Mounted Infantry Division in South African War 1900-1901. He was made K.C.M.G. in 1900 and K.C.B. in 1912.
