Menzies, Archibald, 1754-1842
Variant namesA. Menzies, surgeon in the Royal Navy with previous experience in the Pacific Ocean area was appointed to the Discovery, commanded by George Vancouver, for the purpose of making botanical researches during the ship's voyage to the north-west coast of America.
