Wood, Susan, 1948-1980
Variant namesSusan Wood was born in Ottawa, Ontario and earned a B.A. (1969) and M.A. (1970) from Carlton University and a Ph.D. (1975) from the University of Toronto. She joined the Department of English at the University of British Columbia in 1975 and specialized in popular fiction. Wood became the Vancouver editor of the Pacific Northwest Review of Books which was established in 1977 and contributed numerous review articles for the publication.
