Cassab, Judy, 1920-
Variant namesPainter and portraitist. Cassab studied art in Prague and Budapest before migrating to Australia with her family in 1951. In 1953 she held the first of numerous solo and portrait exhibitions in Australia. Cassab has won several art prizes and awards, including the Archibald Prize in 1961 and 1968. In 1995 she published the Judy Cassab diaries.
