Henschenius, Godefridus, 1601-1681
Variant namesJesuit bishop in Antwerp, colleague of Joannes Bollandus with whom he wrote Acta Sanctorium, a large work on the lives of the saints. With Daniel van Papenbroeck traveled from Antwerp through Germany to Rome, returning through France, gathering during the 2-year journey information about the saints.
