Murray, Alexander Hunter (Canadian artist and writer,1818-1874)
Variant namesAlexander Hunter Murray, born in Scotland, emigrated to the United States, joined the American Fur Company, and in 1846 entered the service of the Hudson's Bay Company. He was appointed to the Mackenzie River district under Murdock McPherson.
