Holzman, Philip S., 1922-2004
Variant namesPhilip S. Holzman (1922-2004), was the Esther and Sidney R. Rabb Professor of Psychology at Harvard University who also founded the Psychology Research Laboratory at McLean Hospital in Belmont, Mass. Holzman came to Harvard in 1977, and held appointments in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. His research focused on schizophrenia, and in particular the examination of patients' eye movements and misuse of language to understand the disease.
