Pratt, Ambrose, 1874-1944

Author of about 30 novels, the Centenary History of Victoria (1934), a biography of David Syme (1908), and two works on natural history: The lore of the lyrebird (1933), and The call of the koala (1937). President of the Royal Zoological Society of Victoria for several years.
