Thomas, Edna, 1885-1974
Edna Thomas (1885-1974) was a singer who primarily performed African American spirituals. Known as "the Lady of Louisiana," she toured both nationally and internationally. Thomas may also have worked as an actress in New York in the latter half of her career (for more information, consult the collection file located in the Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library).
