Reid Nielson (1972-) currently is the Managing Director of the Church History Department for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Born on September 6, 1972, Reid Larkin Nielson was born in Southern California and was raised there as well. He served a mission for the Church in the Japan Sapporo Mission. Dr. Neilson is married to Shelley Anderson and they have three children. He has been an Assistant Professor for Brigham Young University in the Church History and Doctrine department. Currently he is a Managing Director of the Church History Department for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

On December 24, 1936, Donald Q. Cannon was born to Quayle Jr. and Fay Allred Cannon. Cannon served as a North Germany full-time missionary from 1957-1959 for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is married to JoAnn McGinnis and they have six children. Cannon became a part of the Church History and Doctrine Faculty at Brigham Young University in 1973 and retired from Brigham Young University in 2007.
