Kearney, Greg

Greg Kearney has been the editorial cartoonist and webmaster for the Casper "Star-Tribune" for 18 years. He graduated with a B.A. in design in 1980 from Brigham Young University. Among his awards include; finalist for the 1985 Pultizer Prize and various Wyoming Press Association awards.

Greg Kearney has been the editorial cartoonist and webmaster for the Casper (Wyoming) Star-Tribune for 18 years. He graduated with a B.A. in Design in 1980 from Brigham Young University. His various awards include: finalist for the 1985 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service, Best Original Feature, 1996 Best Online Newspaper Services Competition Editor & Publisher, SPJ Region 9 Editorial cartooning prize 1982, Wyoming Press Association Illustration 1st Place 1993, Artwork 1st place 1986, and Artwork 2nd place 1985, 1986, 1987, 1990.

In 2005, Kearney was the general daily manager of the Lee News Service. He has been responsible for the supervision of communications, via AP DataFeatures and the internet, of time sensitive news materials including text, photographs and graphics on both a national and regional level and development of IPTC standards compliant software for news delivery and archiving.
