Ghiorso, Albert, 1915-2010
Variant namesAlbert Ghiorso (b. July 15, 1915, Vallejo, Calif.–d. December 26, 2010), American nuclear scientist and co-discoverer of twelve chemical elements on the periodic table. He worked at the Ernest O. Lawrence National Laboratory at the University of California at Berkeley.
