Pilinszky, János
Variant namesJános Pilinszky was a Hungarian poet who wrote about his experiences including the German concentration camps, which he witnessed during the Second World War. Pilinszky's poetry was translated into a number of languages. Ted Hughes and János Csokits translated his poetry into English.
