Variant namesGeorge Brackett Seitz was born in Boston, MA on Jan. 3, 1888; began his career with Pathé (1913) as actor and screenwriter; directed and wrote for Pearl White serials and went on to establish his own studio; produced and directed numerous films including many of the Andy Hardy series; died July 8, 1944 in Hollywood, CA.
