Cyrus Thompson (1855-1930) was a physician of Onslow County, N.C., and a leader of the Populist Party, serving in the General Assembly in 1883 and 1885 and as North Carolina Secretary of State, 1897-1901. He also served as the Onslow County Superintendent of Health, 1907-1913.
