McKibben, Bill.
Variant namesBill McKibben, born on Dec. 8, 1960, is a freelance writer whose works include The End of Nature; Hope, Human and Wild; and The Age of Missing Information. HIs writings concern the impact of society and culture on the global environment. McKibben graduated from Harvard in 1982. He lives in the Adirondacks of New York State with his family. McKibben wrote over 400 articles for the "Talk of the Town" column that appeared in the New Yorker in the 1980s.
