Gleeson, Libby

She has published 18 books, several having received Literary Awards including the Children's Literature Peace Prize, 1991, and the International Board on Books for Young People Award 1992, for Dodger. Gleeson's other activities include lecturing on creative writing, the Melbourne and Sydney Writers' Festivas, the Public Lending Right Committee and promotion of children's literature. Gleeson won the Lady Cutler Award for Services to Children's Literature, 1997.
