Henry Harrison Lyman, 1841-1901.
Capt. F.S. Johnson was a Confederate officer who captured Lyman and kept his sword. In 1877, Johnson advertised in the NEW YORK HERALD to return the sword, which led to extensive correspondence between the two men.
