Fuqua, Henry L. (Henry Luse), 1865-1926
Variant namesHenry L. Fuqua Sr. served as general manager of the Louisiana State Penitentiary (1916-1923) and governor of Louisiana (1924-1926). He was the son of James Overton Fuqua, an attorney, slaveholder, and property owner of East Baton Rouge Parish, La.
