Harry Sandlin Mattice, Jr., also known as Sandy Mattice, Jr., born 1954 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was a U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee. Nominated by President George W. Bush in 2005, he served as a judge for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. In 1997, he served as Senior counsel for the U.S. Senate Committee on Governmental Affairs.
