Wilder, Wilbur Elliott, 1856-1952
Variant namesWilbur Elliott Wilder (b. Aug. 16, 1856, Mich.-d. Jan. 30, 1952), Brigadier General in the U.S. Army, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy in 1877 and served on the frontier in many Indian campaigns until 1895. He later served in the Philippines and in France during the First World War. He is a recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor.
