McShane, James J. P. (James Joseph Patrick), 1909-1968
Variant namesJames Joseph Patrick McShane (1909-1968) was an investigator for the Kefauver Committee from 1957 to 1959 and for the Subcommittee on Antitrust and Monopoly Legislation of the Judiciary Committee from 1959 to 1960. McShane served as Chief of Security for John F. Kennedy's Presidential campaign in 1960, then as U.S. Marshal for the District of Columbia from 1961 to 1962, and Chief United States Marshal from 1962 to 1968.
