University of Maryland, College Park. Alumni Association

The University of Maryland Alumni Association was first formed in 1893 to support and promote the university in its pursuits of excellence in teaching, research and public service and to foster a spirit of loyalty, involvement and life-long commitment to the university by its alumni. The association has had various names throughout its history, depending on how alumni relations were organized throughout the University System of Maryland, including the Alumni Association International and the College Park Alumni Association.
