Eleanor Foster Lansing (b. May 13, 1866, Cincinnati, Ohio-d. Aug. 18, 1934, Henderson Harbor, New York) was a daughter of John Watson Foster, Secretary of State, from 1892 to 1893 She married Robert Lansing on January 15, 1890, in Washington, D.C., who would become Secretary of State, serving from 1915 to 1920. She also was the maternal aunt of John Foster Dulles, Secretary of State, Allen Welsh Dulles, Director of Central Intelligence, and her namesake, Eleanor Lansing Dulles, an economist and diplomat.
