Variant namesThe Australian Folk Trust and Art and Working Life organisations obtained funding for a project to collect works of Australian workers writing of life's experiences. Roger Montgomery obtained the job as co-ordinator and collector of an exploratory phase pilot project in the Pilbara, Western Australia. He used the material he collected as a basis for the book "Pilbara connection" A sound recording with the same title was also produced.
