Lynn Hoffman was born in Paris, France on 10 Sep 1924. She is an internationally known lecturer on family therapy and the author of several books on the subject, including Foundations of Family Therapy; Family therapy: And Intimate history; and Exchanging Voices. She is particularly interested in applying postmaodern ideas and formats to teaching, writing, therapy and consulting. She is currently an adjunct faculty member in the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at St. Joseph College, West Hartford, CT.
