Morris, Edward Ellis, 1843-1901
Variant namesE. E. Morris (1843-1902) was Headmaster of Melbourne Church of England Grammar School 1875-1882. In 1883, he accepted the professorship of Modern Languages and Literature in the University of Melbourne, remaining in this post until his death in 1902. He was the author of A Memoir of George Higinbotham (London, 1895) and of Austral English (London, 1898).
