Genesee Hospital(Rochester, N.Y.). School of Nursing Alumni Association.

Hide Profile

The Genesee Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association was established in 1899 by graduates of the Rochester Homeopathic Training School. The name was changed in 1926 when the hospital and school names were changed to Genesee, and "Alumnae" was changed to "Alumni" in the 1960s to reflect the male nurses that had been graduated. The association has remained an active group despite the closing of the nursing school in 1978.
