Harvard Library Club

Hide Profile

The Library Club began in 1933. It was started by Miss Jesse Whitehead, a library staff member. The purpose of the club was to improve communication within the library. The club held dinner meetings once a month and invited speakers twice a year. From 1941-1950, the club published a newsletter, the Staff bulletin, whose name changed later to Library scene. The club's activities appear to cease in 1985.
