Mason, Timothy W., 1940-
Variant namesTimothy Mason wrote the book and lyrics for the original Broadway production of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, which was first performed at the Minneapolis's Children's Theatre Company in 1994. He has written a number of plays that have been produced throughout that United States and London. Mason has won a number of awards for his work, including the Kennedy Center Fund for New American Plays Award and a National Endowment for the Arts Award. The Last Synapsid, a time-traveling, fantastical tale, is his first novel for young adults.
