Autograph letter signed from F. Wallis, Bath, to William Hayley, Chichester [manuscript], 1794 January 19.

Discusses his daughter's [Trypohsa Jane Wallis'] acting abilities. He writes that Harris has seen her in several characters including Lady Macbeth, Beatrice and Lady Townly; mentions that if Hayley writes to Mr. Romney, "it may perhaps be some advantage to him to know the above in case she should make a great noise in Town."
