Sybil McCaslin Bowers (1882-1964) married Claude Gernade Bowers (1878-1958) in 19l1. The couple raised one daughter, Pat (1915-1975). Sybil and Jessie E. Moore (circa 1881-1962) attended the Indiana Normal School and remained friends following graduation. Claude Bowers served as ambassador to Spain (1933-1939) and Chile (1939-1953) while Sybil acted as hostess at various embassy residences. Jessie E. Moore taught school at Emmerich Manual Training High School in Indianapolis.
