Arthur Cayley Headlam was born in 1862 and died in 1947. Headlam was an English prelate in the Church of England. He served as principal of King's College, London from 1903 to 1912. From 1918 to 1923 he was regius professor of Divinity at Oxford where he was also canon of Christ Church. He was appointed Bishop of Gloucester in 1923 and remained in that position until 1945. Doctrine of the Church and Christian Reunion is one of many publications by Headlam.
