Biographical notes:
Served prior to the Revolution as the representative of the Ministry of Justice (Ministerstvo i︠u︡stit︠s︡īi) to the Stolypin land committees and as Chief Procurator (Prokurorskīĭ nadzor) in the Senate; emigrated to Helsinki, Finland, where he served from 1929-1939 as the representative of the Russian Historical Archive (Russkiĭ zagranichnyĭ istoricheskiĭ arkhiv v Prage) located in Prague, Czechoslavakia.
