Gottfried, Kurt.

Professor emeritus Dept. of Physics, Cornell University.

He received his engineering degree (1951) and his M.S. (1952) from McGill University and his Ph.D. (1955) from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was a Junior Fellow at Harvard University, 1955-1958, a Research Fellow, Bohr Institute & Harvard, 1958-1960 and an Assistant Professor of Physics, Harvard University, 1960-1964. From 1964-1968 he was an Associate Professor and from 1968-1998 a Professor in Physics at Cornell University.
