Clark, Joseph S.
Joseph Sill Clark was a Democratic reform politician from Philadelphia. Early in his career he served as Campaign Manager for Richardson Dillworth's mayoral campaign, 1947, and as Philadelphia City Controller, 1950-1951. He served as Mayor of Philadelphia, 1951-1956, and from 1957-1968 he was a United States Senator from Pennsylvania.
