Scott, William, Baron Stowell, 1745-1836
Stowell held a variety of position within the govenment including Advocate General for Lord High Admiralty (1782), Judge for Consistory Court (1788-1821), Privy Councilor (1798), and Judge of High Court of Admiralty (1798-1828).
