Anglican Bishop of Chester born at Northampton and educated at Northampton and Oxford.
Vicar of Barking in 1660 professing an ardent loyalty to James. Appointed to the See of Chester upon his accession. Followed James to Ireland after the King was deposed in 1689. Died a month later.
