Fox, Mem, 1946-

Children's author and academic. Mem Fox has published numerous children's books (including Possum magic, 1983), an autobiography and three textbooks. She has taught at the South Australian Institute of Technology, the Sturt College of Advanced Education and she is now an Associate Professor at Flinders University. She has won numerous awards and was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 1993.
