Gode, Alexander, 1906-1970

Alexander Gode von Aesch (Gode is pronounced Go'-dah) was born October 30, 1906, in Bremen, Germany. He came to the United States, where he became an editor of linguistic works, and a translator. Most of his original writings are on science topics. He died August 10, 1970. Biographical Source: Something About the Author, vol. 14.
