(loose leaf)This is a photostatic copy of a Masters Report on a biographical study of Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett and Mike Fink. In order to become a hero, an individual had to excel in those traits that reflected the spirit of nineteenth century American frontier. The proficiency demonstrated by Boone, Crockett and Fink in frontier skills and the many common traits that they possessed, may account for their rise to fame as American folk heroes. In her study and analysis Moorehead, concludes that the trio did indeed possess common characteristics and she includes a chart illustrating the comparison each of these in Boone, Crockett and Fink.
