Mary Montgomerie Lamb Singleton Currie, Lady Currie. English poet, essayist, and novelist, best known under her pen name, Violet Fane.

Violet Fane, the pseudonym for Mary Montgomerie Lamb Singleton Currie, began publishing poems and essays in the 1870s, and later wrote novels and stories. In 1864 she married Henry Sydenham Singleton (d. 1893) and the first Lord Currie in 1894.
