Biographical History

Adlow (Radcliffe College, A.B. and A.M.) was art critic for the Christian Science Monitor for 41 years. She lectured throughout the United States, travelled widely in Europe, and visited artists and collectors in the U.S. and abroad. She married Nicholas Slonimsky, musicologist and pianist, in 1931; they had one daughter.
