BIOGHIST REQUIRED American diplomat, mining engineer. Braden (1894-1978) was a diplomat in numerous Latin American countries and was particularly well known for his role as the American Representative to the Chaco Peace Conference, 1935-1939, and for his opposition to the Peron regime in Argentina in the 1940s.
