Biographical History

Susan Tanenbaum Stern (1943-1976) wrote With the Weathermen : the personal journal of a revolutionary woman , published in 1975. A graduate of the University of Washington, Stern became a political activist. She was a member of Students for a Democratic Society, the Weathermen, the Seattle Liberation Front, and other anti-Vietnam War groups. She was tried for conspiracy as one of the Seattle Seven in 1970.
