Mann, Ida, 1893-1983
Variant namesIda Mann worked as an ophthalmic surgeon in Perth and helped establish a medical school at the University. She investigated the incidence and treatment of trachoma amongst the Aboriginal people in northern Australia. Author of The science of seeing, The development of the human eye, The chase: an autobiography and other works.
