John Brooke's companions on the voyage and in Melbourne were "Eliza" and "Tom". Their ship landed in Melbourne on 12 Oct. 1852. Their shop was situated at 125 Swanston Street. Thomas Collier Brooke took up the pastoral run of Worrough in July 1854 (with John Brooke), Tallarook in Feb. 1864, and Ghin Ghin in Dec. 1864.
