Ray W. Barker (1889-1974) was Assistant Chief of Staff, War Plans Division, U.S. Forces in the British Isles form 1942 to 1943, then Deputy Chief of Staff, Assistant Chief of Staff, G-3, European Theater of Operations from 1943 to 1944. He became Deputy Chief of Staff, SHAEF (Supreme Headquarters, Allied Expeditionary Force) in 1944, then Assistant Chief of Staff, G-1, SHAEF from 1944 to 1945.
