Theodore Roosevelt Jr.(1887-1944) was the eldest son of President Theodore Roosevelt and Edith Kermit Roosevelt. He served in the New York State Assembly, was Assistant Secretary of The Navy, Governor of Puerto Rico and Governor General of the Philippines. He served in the Army in bothe World wars, and died a brigadier general a few weeks after the invasion of Normandy.
